Privacy Policy

Smoov helps Amazon sellers find, evaluate, and manage products. To do that well, we handle data about your business. This policy explains exactly what we collect, what we do with it, what we never do with it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past.

Last updated: 27 July 2026. This policy covers smoovsuite.com and the Smoov application.

What we collect

Account data. Your name, email, password credentials, subscription and billing status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.

Product research you create. The searches you run, the products you analyze, the verdicts and results we show you, items you save or watch, and workspaces you open. This is the working record of your sourcing activity inside Smoov.

Numbers you enter. Costs, quantities, targets, quotes, and outcomes you type or confirm in Smoov, including landed cost entries and manifest uploads. You always control these values and can correct them at any time.

Connected Amazon selling account data. Only if you connect your Amazon selling account, and only as described in the section “Your Amazon selling account data” below. If you never connect, we never receive it.

Market data. Product, pricing, and rank data about the Amazon marketplace from licensed providers such as Keepa. This is data about products, not about you.

Usage and device data. Standard logs, feature usage events, and fraud-prevention signals, used to keep the service working and secure.

How we use your data

To run Smoov for you. Your research history, saved items, targets, and entered numbers exist so your tools work and your records persist. Your Track Record is built from them.

To personalize Smoov for you. What you act on, pass on, and report back teaches Smoov what fits your business. This personalization uses your data for you alone.

To improve Smoov, in de-identified and aggregated form only. We use data derived from how sellers use Smoov and the numbers they contribute to improve our analysis, train our models, and understand what works, after removing identifiers so the data is no longer linked to you or your business. We commit publicly to the following, and this commitment is part of this policy:

  • We maintain and use such data only in de-identified or aggregated form.
  • We will not attempt to re-identify it, except solely to test that our de-identification works.
  • Any party that receives such data from us is contractually bound to the same commitments.

What we never do. We do not sell your data. We do not share your individual business data with other Smoov users or outside parties except service providers acting for us or where the law requires. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models. And we never combine your connected Amazon account data with other sellers' data, as described next.

Your Amazon selling account data

This section applies from the day Smoov offers an Amazon selling account connection, and only if you choose to connect.

What we access. With your authorization through Amazon, we access data about your own selling account, such as your sales, traffic, fees, inventory, and inbound shipments, to show you verified results for products you researched in Smoov.

The seller boundary rule. Data from your Amazon account is used only for you. It powers your own dashboards, your own Track Record, and prompts that only you see. It is never aggregated with other sellers' Amazon data, never used to build cross-seller datasets, and never used to improve recommendations shown to anyone else. If Smoov asks you a question because of something detected in your account, only what you then choose to type or confirm in Smoov is treated as data you contributed.

Compliance. Our handling of Amazon selling account data follows Amazon's Data Protection Policy and Acceptable Use Policy for solution providers.

Disconnecting. You can disconnect your Amazon account at any time. We stop receiving data immediately and delete the Amazon account data we hold within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

Your rights and choices

You can access, correct, export, and delete your data. Deletion is available from your Settings inside Smoov: it takes two taps, it runs immediately rather than being queued for a person, and we email you a confirmation when it is done. If you cannot use the in product path for any reason, write to us at the address below and a person will process it for you. Export of your own records is available from within Smoov where offered, and by request otherwise. If you are in a region with statutory privacy rights, such as the EU, UK, or California, those rights apply and the process above is how you exercise them.

When your account is deleted, we delete your account data, your research records, your entered numbers, and any connected Amazon account data. De-identified and aggregated data derived beforehand is no longer linked to you and is not affected. Market data about products is not personal to you and is unaffected.

Legal bases (EU and UK)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (running Smoov), for our legitimate interests (keeping the service secure, and improving the service using de-identified and aggregated data as described above), to comply with law, and with your consent where we ask for it.

Service providers

We use a small set of service providers to run Smoov, listed on our subprocessors page. Each is bound to protect your data.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the product or by email. Questions: privacy@smoovsuite.com.
